Some pup breeds have a reputation for being fierce and dangerous. Usually, this happens as a result of the reputation the breed has garnered over the last several decades, partly in thanks to media popularising certain stereotypes.
People then go out to adopt these breeds in hopes of raising them into ferocious, dangerous pups, which in turn reinforces the image.
In actuality, as long as the pup isn’t suffering from inbreeding issues or genetic problems that affect the brain and make it violent, no pup ever starts out with the inherent need to hurt or maim anyone. Instead, it really is completely reliant on how the Mom and Dad choose to raise the pup. Good breeding often results in pups like this Pitbull being sweet and docile instead!
This Pitbull is being very patient with a Beagle puppy, who just won’t stop sniffing and licking him. He doesn’t mind the attention, and tries to lick back every now and then too!
